All four models are available in a 45mm steel Radiomir 1940 style enclosure. There are also two dial models for each model, one is what Panerai Replica Watches calls “Paris hobnails” and the other is vertical stripes. The other two Panerai Radiomir 1940 3-day GMT power reserve automatic Acciaio models are PAM 628 (with Paris studs) and PAM 658 (with vertical stripes). Personally, I think both have added a texture pop-up on the dial, which is very simple and performs well. It’s really one of my favorite brand visuals.
All four Panerai Radiomir 1940 3-Day GMT Auto Acciaio and Radiomir 1940 3-Day GMT Power Reserve Auto Acciaio watches feature 72 hours of power reserve and 100 meters of water resistance. The water resistance should of course be at least as high, because the 1940 production line was actually named after the Italian Navy commandos of around 1940. Another Panerai Replica tradition that the brand insists on is focused on legibility, as GMT’s hands are good and good. I like the GMT hand options they offer are completely clumsy and black except for the arrows.
The fit and finish of all four watches are exactly the same as your expectations for Panerai, and this steel piece has reached the brand’s best point at 45mm. Many people say that 42mm is too small and 47mm is too big – again, Panerai seems to have just the right size. Black or brown leather straps are of high quality, consistent with what you would expect when paying for this money. On the wrist, the watch feels comfortable and has the same real presence as most Fake Panerai Watches.
